Quality & Testing

Verified down to the lot

TLC Renew supplies reference peptides for in vitro laboratory work in the United States. This page sets out how every lot is tested, documented and traced before it reaches your bench, and how to read the certificate that comes with it.

The short version: every lot is independently tested by HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity, assayed to 99% purity or higher, and shipped with a lot-matched Certificate of Analysis you can download by batch number. Research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption.

Testing

Two questions, one certificate

How pure a compound is and whether it is the right compound at all are different questions, and they need different tests. Every lot goes through both before it ships.

Part 01

Purity by HPLC

Analysis – how much of the vial is the compound

Researcher preparing a slide under a laboratory microscope

High-performance liquid chromatography separates a sample into its components and measures each one. The main peak gives the purity figure, and every lot we ship is assayed to 99% or higher. The chromatogram on the certificate shows the peaks behind that number, so you can see it rather than take it on trust.

Part 02

Identity by mass spectrometry

Reference – is it the right compound

Researcher pipetting a sample into microcentrifuge tubes

A purity figure says nothing about what the main peak actually is. Mass spectrometry measures the molecular weight of the compound and matches it against the expected value for its sequence. Both results are printed on the lot’s Certificate of Analysis, next to the batch number on your vial.

Standards

How every lot is documented

A test result is only worth something if you can check it. Every figure we publish ties back to a certificate for a specific lot, and we say plainly where the evidence stops.

Independently tested

Every lot goes to an independent third-party laboratory before it ships. We do not test our own material, and each report states the methods used for that lot.

Third-party verified

Lot-matched certificates

Each Certificate of Analysis is linked to its product and downloadable by batch number. The lot number printed on your vial leads straight to its testing records.

Lot level evidence

Scope stated, not implied

Nothing on this site is dosing guidance, protocol advice, or a claim about use in humans or animals. Certificates confirm identity and purity at dispatch, and nothing more.

Research framing only

Handling

Lyophilization, packing and the first hour

Every compound is supplied as a lyophilized, freeze-dried powder. Lyophilization removes water under vacuum, which keeps material far more stable through storage and transit than a solution would be. In-stock orders leave within 24 hours in temperature-stable, plainly labelled packaging. Most of what goes wrong with a vial goes wrong in the first hour after the box is opened.

On arrival

  • Store lyophilized material under the conditions stated on the label and in its documentation, protected from light.
  • Let vials reach room temperature before opening, so condensation does not form on the contents.
  • Keep the original label intact so the lot number stays traceable to its certificate.

Responsibility for storage, handling and disposal passes to you on delivery.

Compliance

Research use only

All TLC Renew products are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics or foods, and they are not intended for human or animal consumption. By ordering, buyers confirm they are qualified researchers aged 21 or older purchasing for legitimate scientific use. Full terms are set out in our Research Use Only Policy and Compliance Overview.
